(SISS) Hi Ashley J, We know your work from instagram, and you we love your modeling portfolio, but can you tell us a little bit more about where you are from and what are you currently working on? I'm from Virginia, originally from North Carolina born and raised! I'm currently working on building my brand, expanding getting posters, shirts, calendars etc. Also working with bigger companies I.e. Dudley Q.  (SISS) What was the moment or reason why you began modeling? How long have you been modeling? I got into modeling because I was often told that I was a very pretty girl an that I should model. I didn't believe it I've never seen myself as "the pretty girl" but I gave it a shot and realized how much I enjoyed it!  (SISS) You never know when you start something where it could ultimately take you. Where has modeling taken you? What are some of the things that you have been doing to mold your modeling career into a business or a brand? Modeling has taken me to a place where I can love myself and feel pretty no matter what anyone says. It's taught me you can't trust everyone and most importantly to know your worth.  (SISS) Where were you five years ago? What were you up to or into? What would you tell your five-year younger self? Five years ago I wasn't really doing much, I got my first 3 jobs in 2011 one of which I still work at to this day. I would tell myself to get out of this town follow your dreams don't let ANYONE hold you back!

(SISS) Can you take us through a typical day? From Waking up to going to bed, Can you give us a play by play of a typical day for you? On a day that I don't have to work, I usually wake up around 8:30-9am, maybe make breakfast or lounge around with my daughter while she watches her shows and plays. Around lunchtime I feed her and put her down for nap. I can then clean and cook, take a shower and start my day. Sometimes that means getting ready for a photo-shoot or do a little shopping. Around dinner time I'll make something or eat whatever I made earlier play with my daughter give her a bath an she's out like a light that's usually when I can finally catch up on my shows before bed.  (SISS) Five years from now, where do you hope to be? What’s your vision for yourself five years from now? Five years from now I will be in North Carolina again making major moves in the industry all the while being a hard working mother (hopefully no longer single) setting a example for my daughter!  (SISS) What are some obstacles you have to work through when it comes to modeling? What are some struggles with the business? What are the things about modeling that you could live without? Can you share a story from your experience that showed your perseverance? Some obstacles are unprofessional photographers; some struggles are traveling, trying to juggle work with gigs. There was a time where I didn't feel good about my weight an the photographer didn't help me feel any better needless to say the pictures never saw the light of day an I cried when I got home but I knew what I had to do about it I got it together stated working out and haven't had that problem again thank goodness!!

(SISS) How do you feel about “Perception is Reality”? Especially when people see a photo and assume what they want. Does that bother you? Never judge a book by its cover people can think what they want about me but as long as the people that matter knows the truth that’s good enough for me!

(SISS) What is your favorite book? What is your favorite Food? When do you feel the sexiest? I don't currently have a favorite book, my favorite food is potatoes lol I'm different, I feel my sexiest when I get my hair and makeup done right before a photo shoot I can have on a brown paper bag an feel like I can take on the world with no worries!  (SISS) Social media question, Facebook, twitter, instagram or snapchat? Which one do you use the most? I think everyone can agree that snapchat is what's "Poppin" (in my Cardi-B’s voice) at the moment lol

(SISS) What does Smart is so Sexy mean to you?  Smart is so sexy means that it's not about what's on the outside, you have to have brains and be a genuine person on the inside before you can be sexy on the outside! Just because you put on some make up an have the newest fashions if your "dumb" and have a nasty attitude you will be perceived as "ugly" so be SMART, be SEXY!!
