(SISS)  Hi Jessica, where are you from and where are you currently spending your time?  (Jessica Shirley)  Hi there I was born in St. Lucia. I grew up in California and I now reside in Brooklyn New York.  (SISS)  What was one of the hardest things that you had to go through? What advice would you give someone going through the same struggle?  (Jessica Shirley)  Well, growing up I went through lots of difficult experiences, and hardship. What I tell someone going through any type of struggle is that, it will get better. Although you may not see it immediately, this experience will make you stronger.  You can draw you own map of what you want your life to look like. Draw it and keep looking at it so you can remember where you are coming from and where you want to go. (SISS) Actress (IMDb) | Fitness | #SISS Tell us more… who is @jessallthetime and what are you most proud of?  (Jessica Shirley)  I am really an introvert @jessallthetime is maybe my alter ego. I have always wanted to be an actress, but life happens and reality hits so I put it off for a long time. I went to school got my masters degrees (minored in theater) got a job...I guess  I did it backwards. I established myself before  deciding to pursue the dream. This works for me because I don’t have the stress and pressure of the struggling actor. Any stress or pressure I have, I place on myself, which I tend to do.  (SISS)  Finish this sentence, I have a dream… ?  (Jessica Shirley)  I have a dream to become a working actor.  (SISS)  What makes you the happiest? What is fun for you?  (Jessica Shirley)  Spending time with my family and of course being on set, acting.  (SISS)  How do you deal with disappointment? How do you Keep Going?  (Jessica Shirley)  There will always be disappointments, that’s a part of life.  I use them as learning points and grow from it. Take time to reflect and you have to keep moving.  (SISS)  What is your superpower?  (Jessica Shirley)  I am a woman! The safety and welfare of children is near and dear to my heart. I am also passionate about pursuing my dreams of becoming an actor. I am passionate about living a full life not just passing time just existing.  (SISS)  Who was the most influential person in your life and why?  (Jessica Shirley)  I would say my grandmother. She did the best she could to care for me for as long as she could.  (SISS)  Where were you five years ago? What advice would you tell your five years younger self?  (Jessica Shirley)  I would tell my younger self… Don’t wait, do it now!  (SISS)  Can you take us through a typical day? From Waking up to going to bed, Can you give us a play by play of a typical day for you?  (Jessica Shirley)  Monday through Friday I wake up at 6 o’clock AM to get ready for work. I work from 8-3. After that, I am at acting class, the gym, an audition or a late call to set.  (SISS)  What is your favorite book and/or the latest one you’ve read?  (Jessica Shirley)  The last book I read was The Actor’s Life: A Survival Guide by Jenna Fischer and I am currently reading The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron  (SISS)  What would be a good theme song for your life?  (Jessica Shirley)  Fight song by Rachel Platten  (SISS)  When do you feel the sexiest?  (Jessica Shirley)  When I am at home with a tee shirt on and my hair in a bun.  (SISS)  Is there someone on social media that inspires you and is a great follow?  (Jessica Shirley)  Yes, a few actually @pilarsanders @dawnlyn and @ava  (SISS)  What does Smart is so Sexy mean to you?  (Jessica Shirley)  To me it means that being smart is sexy period.  (SISS)  Thank you so much Jessica for sharing with us, we are honored and can’t wait to see what you will accomplish in the near future.
