Alex Torres - I am a Manifestation Chingona, Speaker, Life Coach, and creator of The Latina Connection. I experienced many challenges in life that made it hard to trust and believe there was more to life. I was raised by a mother who did the best she could, however throughout my childhood I endured much abuse. I experienced drug abuse, attempted suicide, domestic violence and.....  well I could go on and on but that doesn’t matter anymore, just know it hasn't been an easy journey. Fast forward from 2014 to now, and I’m thriving a Chingona Boss, helping others become their best and highest self through speaking, coaching, and community involvement.  I am married to my soulmate and have three amazing children. VIA www.thealextorres.com  (SISS)  Hi Alex where are you from and where are you currently spending your time?  (Alex Torres)  I am from Avenal California, and currently reside in Fresno CA  (SISS)  What was one of the hardest things that you had to go through? What advice would you give someone going through the same struggle?  (Alex Torres)  Drug abuse and an abusive relationship. I am a veteran of the counseling field with 14+ years of experience in working with the incarcerated population, at risk youth and foster parents. I am a boss chingona and life coach and love helping women elevate their consciousness, business, money, and lifestyle by transcending limiting beliefs and creating the fabulous life that you deserve. By helping other women fully step into their power, they become happier, more relaxed, are better mothers, wives, business chingonas and feel joy all the time! What is fun for you?  (Alex Torres)  Living in my purpose. Travel and food is fun to me!  (SISS)  How do you deal with disappointment? How do you Keep Going?  (Alex Torres)  I don't lean into it. I lean back and become the gentle observer.. knowing that all is always working out for my greatest good. There are no mistakes. its all on perspective. I choose to see everything a divine part of the journey.  (SISS)  What is your superpower?  (Alex Torres)  My innate ability to transcend limiting beliefs and help others do the same. My ability to see the good in everything.  (SISS)  What is your weakness and what do you do to overcome it?  (Alex Torres)  What’s that? I don't focus on that. I believe that I am exactly where I need to be and continue to grow and expand in the areas that I need to... but I am worthy and perfect in this very moment.  (SISS)  Can you tell us three things people might not know about you?  (Alex Torres)  (1)  I attempted suicide at age 13 (2)  I used to transport drugs for my ex-husband who is now serving life in prison.  (3)  I am super good at manifesting!  (SISS)  Can you tell us where else can our readers follow your daily inspiration?  (Alex Torres)  on Instagram, Facebook and my website. www.thealextorres.com  (SISS)  Got a Story to Tell? Can you tell us a quick story or moment/night of a relationship experience, a lesson learned? (This could be funny or serious).  (Alex Torres)  I have too many! One of my favorite stories is when I experienced my inner awakening, in 2014 I was broken, tired and ready to tap out of life... after crying my heart out I heard a whisper in my ear " the secret" this whisper led me to research the secret and this is the book that propelled me into becoming an avid student and teacher of the law of attraction. and well the rest is history!  (SISS)  What’s your favorite quote?  (Alex Torres)  " Who looks inside awakens." My work is of high service and worthy of massive compensation.  (SISS)  Who was the most influential person in your life and why?  (Alex Torres)  I have a few. My grandma for always loving me. Dr. Wayne Dyer for being my spiritual father and guru, and my life coach Patrina Wisdom for helping me awaken to my true self.  (SISS)  Where were you five years ago? What advice would you tell your five years younger self?  (Alex Torres)  Five years ago I was broken and experiencing my spiritual awakening. I would tell my younger self. " it gets better."  (SISS)  Can you take us through a typical day? From Waking up to going to bed, Can you give us a play by play of a typical day for you?  (Alex Torres)  I rise around 6am. upon opening my eyes I practice some gratitude. I then meditate, journal, and set my intentions for the day. I only workout 3x a week but its always after my morning grounding routine. My day is always guided by what emotions I want to experience: joy, fun, abundance... I don't like routines so I just let my inner goddess guide me on what we will do!
