What advice would you give someone going through the same struggle?  (Ale)  Being an immigrant and moving to a new country, where you don’t speak the language or know the culture was definitely one of the hardest challenges I’ve faced. There was one girl who spoke Spanish in my entire classroom so if I wasn’t with her, I would just hang out alone. It was very tough to go from having tons of friends to just one and to feel like a complete outsider.  I would say to someone in those shoes to not be afraid and to give it time. You will find your place, you will find your tribe again and you will assimilate.  (SISS)  Digital Marketing MBA | CEO @MajestyDigitalMarketing #SISS Tell us more, who is @vibewithaleh and what are you most proud of?  (Ale)  Currently, @VibeWithAleH is a boss babe who has her own digital marketing agency. I am now in the last semester of my digital marketing Masters program and I couldn’t be more proud. It was a tough decision to go back to school after being out of college for 4 years. it was tough but it was worth it! That’s where my inspiration and knowledge for my business came from.  (SISS)  Finish this sentence, I have a dream… ?  (Ale)  I have a dream that in five years I will be living life on my own terms. I am happy, fulfilled and have a rewarding business.  (SISS)  What makes you the happiest? What is fun for you?  (Ale)  I LOVE to travel. I love going to new places and trying new foods, new cultures and meeting new people. I have been to 27 different countries and hope to keep going until I can’t travel anymore.  (SISS)  How do you deal with disappointment? How do you Keep Going?  (Ale)  I have had many disappointments during my journey but I do realize that they are just part of life. There is absolutely no one on this planet who has a perfect life so that also keeps me grounded. I try to take it one day at a time and not stress too much about things that are out of my control.  (SISS)  What is your superpower?  (Ale)  My superpower is that I love making women feel good about themselves. I love hyping them and making them feel confident and bomb.  (SISS)  What is your weakness and what do you do to overcome it?  (Ale)  I think one of my weaknesses is that I want things done right away and that doesn’t always happen so I get frustrated. I try to stay calm and realize that not everyone and everything is on my time schedule and when I want it done. I remind myself to be patient and to stay calm.  (SISS)  Can you tell us four things people might not know about you?  (Ale)  (1)  I LOVE seafood.  (2)  I have had my dog for 11 years now.  (3)  I was the youngest graduate of my undergrad class (I graduated at 19).  (4)  I have two brothers and two sisters.  (SISS)  Can you tell us where else can our readers follow your daily inspiration?  (Ale)  I am VERY active on Twitter! @VibeWithAleH, I post a lot of motivational and inspirational tweets that I get a lot of positive feedback on.  (SISS)  Got a Story to Tell? Can you tell us a quick story or moment/night of relationship experience, a lesson learned? (This could be funny or serious).  (Ale)  The university where I am getting my masters offers an entrepreneur/small business program every year for a limited number of qualified students. I applied every semester for the first two years and was never accepted. I was ready to give up but I spoke to one of my professors and he helped draft my application letter and guided me through the process. I sometimes have a very hard time asking for help and want to figure it all out on my own, however, this situation was a big eye opener because I do not know ALL the answers and it reminded me that it is okay to ask for help. Long story short with his help I got into the program and now I am running my own business!  If there is anything to take away from that story is that we are not the experts and that is okay. It is okay to ask for help and to reach out to others when you need to and it will not make you less intelligent or incapable of anything.  (SISS)  What’s your favorite quote?  (Ale)  “This too shall pass” - it is a constant reminder that no situation is going to last forever.  (SISS)  At Smart is so sexy we love to see women who are thriving in their career or business.  What are you most passionate about?  (Ale)  I am passionate about helping women and women empowerment. I do consider myself a feminist and I am ALL about women finding equality and their place in the world.  (SISS)  Who was the most influential person in your life and why?  (Ale)  The most influential person in my life has to be my mom. My dad left Colombia when I was two so it was pretty much my brother, sister, myself and my mom. She had many struggles throughout her life and still managed to raise three wonderful and very successful children.  (SISS)  Where were you five years ago? What advice would you tell your five years younger self?  (Ale)  Five years ago I was all over the place and felt a little lost. I spent most of my early twenties traveling and being obsessed with traveling. I would pretty much work for a bit, save and then take off. I would tell her to keep doing what she was doing but to start thinking more about where her life is going. I would also tell her that everything will come together eventually so to not feel so lost.  (SISS)  Can you take us through a typical day? From Waking up to going to bed, Can you give us a play by play of a typical day for you?  (Ale)  I usually wake up around 7:30 - 8 and when I can, I meditate for 10 minutes or so. I take my dog out on a walk which also serves as a morning meditation practice. I go to the gym, make breakfast and then get to work. I have a home office set up which is where I am most of the day. On the days when I am not in the office, I am usually at an event, a photoshoot or with a client.  (SISS)  What is your favorite book and/or the latest one you’ve read?  (Ale)  My favorite book of all time is The Alchemist by Paolo Coelho.  The most recent one was Influencer by Brittaney Hennessy  (SISS)  What would be a good theme song for your life?  (Ale)  Girl on fire - Alicia Keys  (SISS)  When do you feel the sexiest?  (Ale)  I feel the sexiest dancing. I am a huge dancer and go dancing pretty often.  (SISS)  Is there someone on social media that inspires you and is a great follow?  (Ale)  Yes! @NatalieEllis - she is the founder of Boss Babe and such an inspiration. She is currently my role model.  (SISS)  What does Smart is so Sexy mean to you?  (Ale)  Smart is so Sexy means to me that women are more than just their body. It means that we are complex beings that are able to do so much and achieve everything we put our minds to.
